So, it's Kins vs. Rangers.

    Well :) there's no sense in arguing. The games will decide who receives the trophy.

     

    I'm only rooting for the Kings because the Rangers beat my Penguins, anyways :D no special love for the Kings.

    I don't really love hockey teams that the NHL dreamed up to grind more money out of the public.  I far prefer the original six.  After the Eagleson affair, the NHL just isn't what it should be.

    I have not paid much attention to the NHL, and I cannot say I'm a fan, but I do enjoy seeing my hometown team do well.

    Yes.  The NHL was a neat little cross-border league of six teams until someone at NHL HQ decided to milk the cow.

    I like the Kings goal tender.  Do you suppose the Kings will do a Boston Red Sox and trade him to New York.  The curse of the Babe still is in effect in spite of Boston's better luck.

    I believe that any team in any league will do whatever it takes to make themselves better :) so if they want to trade him for someone better, they will.

    Funny that you could consider two Canadian games as causing a furore in the U.S.  Basketball was invented in, I think, Winnipeg.  Hockey was really invented in Scotland, but refined in Canada.  The national sport of Canada by the way is Lacrosse.
