Tampa Bay has the worlds longest unbroken sidewalk. It encircles nearly the entire bayfront and not one street, or property intersects it.

 

Spanky from the Little Rascals, used to live in Port Charlotte, south of Tampa. He had the only house with a basement. His backyard was a playground for the neighborhood children. He was in his 90's back then so I wonder if he still survives?

 

Anyone know?

 

anyways, i know just about every inch of the gulf coast, right down through alligator alley to the Keys.

Wow Florida, I just moved here in June, nice to know some others are from here, I live in Okeechobee, it is a little red neckish and there are more cattle than people, but nice. I am going to have to watch this one.

Well heres one of those word only updates I was talking about. I'll rotate between them. Anyway on to the update.

 

 

 

 

              Hurricane?

 

 

Thats what some people are worried about. A small tropical depression is in the Carribein (sp?) Sea and is supposed to come over Jamaca as still a tropical storm. It will then come into Cuba with the eye just slightly away from Havana as a category 2 hurricane. As it hits the keys and the very southern tip of Florida it will be a category 3 with strong winds and rain and lightning. As it gets into the southern tip of the everglads it will be a category 4. And finnaly when it covers almost all of Florida it will be a huge, strong, mean category 5. The eye is most likely to hit Laguna Beach ( the town that i showed you in update 1) as it will take a very sharp turn because of the current. All residents are being encouraged to evacuate, yet there is no mandatory evacuation needed yet. If you can't leave, well, you have a good chance of dying. That is all.

Guys like I said in the beggining this is not a replica none of the citys are even Florida names im just making this a Florida feel and DigatalGecko I got the idea of a hurricane from your cj its really nice!

Don't live in Florida, but I read Dave Barry, Carl Hiaasen, Tim Dorsey, so it's close enough!

And now for my constructive critisisms:
Caribbean.

If your images are under 800x600, try to use the full size image, rather than the tumbnail.

Other than that, his looks like it will be great!

Try to make heavy usage of avenues. A lot of the roads down here are avenues.

The hurricane is almost here. It should be here by Wednsday night. It is moving faster than expected and will be more powerful than expected. All people of Florida are now forced to leave.

Niice. There's Tampa. Make sure you make a small anchor shaped island off the southern end of St. Petersburg. That's Fort DeSoto Park. Great redfish and snook fishing. My boat loves those flats. I'll throw up some pics for some inspiration if you want...
