How is this hut looking?

Hello  :)

OK, finally made something.. though its far from perfect.

The width of the building is too much as compared to default Maxis 1*1 houses. Right now I think it looks like a fat frog with its belly squeezed.

I used 12m*12m dimensions in 3dsMax.

The roof texture also got messy but I don't know why!

Here are some screenshots from the Game.

Please let me know about what mistakes I did and how I can rectify them.

Thank you Simtropolis.

Edit:

One thing, I intentionally made the textures brighter. I infact selected bright looking textures and further Photoshopped them. I like bright things  :) and I am happy about their saturation level. I want it like that. But still your suggestions are welcome.

Edit:

And the little sims in this house commute by bus  :)

    Thank you Michael and Moose.

Yes, idk why the roof texture got distorted.. Anyway in the new version I am reducing its dimensions to 8*8 meters.
