Cannot select My Documents in the ctrl+alt+shift+r menu

Hi everybody, I wasn't sure how to search the forums and using google to search it wasn't effective either, so here I go.

 

I rebuilt my computer last month and finally got around to installing SC4 Deluxe (steam version) today, and wanted to play around a bit before I get into CAM+NAM+5 hours of dependency hunting, but it was not to be.  I downloaded  went to install it in SC4, but every time I tried to double click on My Documents nothing happened.  The same thing happened with documents and settings.  For a workaround, would it be possible to use another folder for regions?  I can open folders I made myself in my user folder without issue.

 

Specs:

SC4 Deluxe (Steam Version)

Win 7 Home Premium x64 (legit)

EDIT: Yeah I just used UserDir and changed the path to a folder of my creation. This thread can be locked but I'd still find it interesting to know if anyone else has had this problem.

When rendering, you can navigate to other paths by clicking the the little icon just to the left of the path box.  I have to do this because when I am doing one of these, the renderer thinks I am in my pseudo C drive which is not where my stuff is.  I have to change to the I drive to get to my working set.
