Railroads, Public Transport, and Shipping

I know that these are small things, but I have some ideas to make these functions a bit better:

 

Railroads:

-Terminal stations to end track and handle more trains

-Dedicated freight stations that aren't a part of trade ports

-The ability for railroads to serve certain industries directly 

-Possibly a different, more Americanized version of the default trains

 

Public Transport:

-Subways and subway stations

-Elevated Railroads

 

Shipping:

-Dedicated wharfs/docks and waterfront warehouses

 

 

Possibly also transportation HQs, such as a Railroad HQ and a Shipping HQ.

 

What do you guys think?

I didn't understand anything you said, except two points.

First one: NO. If anything, more European versions...the default ones look terrible, I even made a topic about it an hour ago.

Second: Good idea, but i don't think the game actually simulates cargo ships - it would require quite a bit of modding.

I do agree that the default trains look awful, so thats why I was thinking that a better looking one that was completely different from the default one could be made.

Trains like this do not only look good in 2010s Europe, but also some parts of the United States, where German-made trains are everywhere nowadays...and with a little bit of imagination it would look good in South America and Asia too!
