Game breaking bug may be the end for me

There is a  processing bug that is making this game impossible to play. Random cities get the message that there city is not able to process and you are taken back to the start menu. On new cities you get the message that your city has to be rolled back and you are stuck in an infinite loop it seems and can't advance your city.

 

This is just game breaking and the sad part is I haven't found any response from EA, Even on there own forum. I got 2 friends to play again and they were enjoying the new content but gave up after they were hit with this bug. It seem to have started when the latest patch was released. I just don't know what to do since it really is impossible to play and I'm locked out of several of my best cities. Other people who have joined in several regions have stated they had to abandon there cities because they keep getting the rollback. Every region I ply on now has abandoned cities and a lot of people I hae played with are not logging on.

 

Before you say it yes I have reinstalled the game twice and I have no mods. I just don't know what to do at this point but quit the game since I cant play.

Had that happen to me, as well.

I just gave up after a while and started a new region.

I've only had it happen to me once a few months ago.

Once it was done, I went on playing without any trouble.

It hasn't happend to me again *knocks on wood*

I have 3 regions messed up at the moment. It happened over weekend and was fine Monday but happened again today.

I'm fairly new to the game still, only have logged 23 hours. And up until the other day I only had two cities in the same private region where I was getting some experience and figuring the game out before I started to play in a public region.

 

I finally started a third city, my first in a public region and after about an hour or so I got the message and I tried restarting and what not and I finally had to abandon my city.

 

Fingers crossed that it doesn't happen to the next city I started in a different region.

I've had this happen to me in one region.  What worked for me was going to a different city in the region, play on it for about 5 minutes, click region view & load the "bugged" city.

 

It always works for me when I do it.
