Cannot Locate My .sc4 file

Hi,

 

I was looking to find one of my cities within the region folder I have, however, all cities were marked as New City(#).sc4. Upon further investigation when I placed the New York region folder out of SimCity the New York region with my cities were still present and loaded in SimCity. Are my cities placed elsewhere in the SimCity 4 files? As I have seen the cities, upon creation are modified with the name of it. (NewCity(4).sc4 -----> BigCity.sc4) I cannot find any traces of my cities doing that.

EDIT: Currently up to date SC4, using deluxe version

You might be looking under C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Regions.  Your cities are located in Documents\SimCity 4\Regions.

That was it! With that I was able to find and restore my corrupted city. Thanks!
