New to simcity

Hi, I am new to simcity 5.  I was wondering.  I set up a mining shaft and it says that it is closed due to lack of water.  So i bought water from a neibhoring city and the city now has water and power but it says the plant is closed due to lack of water.  What do i do?

Wait.  It takes a while for those water agents to fill up your mine.  You need a big excess to be sue every building is taken care of properly (the excess amount is at least green not yellow).  I can suggest you open up your water menu to watch the water agents travel around your city and fill up your mine.  Usually the bigger buildings like your mines and other specialization buildings take multiple agents to fill them up if they go empty, but it should eventually fill up.
