Umm, I am making a lot of money in mining profits. But I look at my budget money and it says I am losing -44.3k per month even though over the course of 5 minutes in real life I am making +1mil in my sim money bank... Question one is how can I know how much I can spend per month based on how much I am losing??? Question two why can't the mining profits be added to the budget??? if it did I'd be making more like 33k per hour or something like that. Does anyone know some key tips they use to help this issue and is there anyway to fix it????? Help.....!

1. You can spend as much as you want per hour as long as you're making a monthly profit.  If your losing enough money that your going to go bankrupt within 24hrs your budget will flash yellow and eventually red when it get low enough.

2. They are, your mining profits are just added to your monthly profit or loss not your hourly profit or loss.

Your monthly profit or loss is directly below your hourly profit or loss and your monthly transactions (from mining) are put in the box next to your budget and below your taxes that says "Recent Transactions" above it.  Your recent transactions also calculated their profit or loss.  Your hourly profit or loss and recent transaction profit or loss are added to your monthly profit or loss.  Like I said in #1 as long as your monthly profit or loss is positive it doesn't matter how much or less your spending or what you're spending your money on.

Hope that helps.

Yep, your mining profits are tallied separately from your budget - which makes no sense.  Gambling profits are factored into your budget, but not sales of commodities.

It's a really weird issue in a game that professes to simplify.

Griffon is essentially right, as long as your transactions tally on the right side of the budget panel exceeds that big scary negative $44K number you see in your monthly services tally, you are OK, just ignore the negative number and keep exporting those resources.

They don't factor your mining profits into your services tally, as the money you make is not consistent, the prices of the exports vary with the market, and you may or may not export a different amount each month, depending on how fast those trucks and trains haul off your exports.

Casinos and Landmarks ARE listed in your services tally, as the amount of money a sim spends in the casino is consistent, the only thing that changes is the number of tourists that come. Tourist money doesn't depend on a market price, or an export truck.
