Just a Little Doubt About NWM

I'd like to know if RD-4,6;TLA-5,7; AVE-6 speed is equal to the road speed, since it can only be dragged using road (For me, it don't make any sense to use an Ave-6 if it's slower than Ave 4, nobody will use it).

If yes, how can increase their speed??

All the road and avenue speeds are the same in the NAM, including the Maxis avenue.  They are all 50 kps.

Hm... I read once that Roads are slower than Avenues that's slower than Highway, that's slower than RHW '-'

I didn't noticed that NAM team had changed this :S

Is that 50 km per second? :ooh:

Seriously though, fefenc, it's part of the traffic simulator, which, as far as I know, has just about everything changed from Maxis. Maybe you're mixing it up with capacities.

    Cheers

Compared to the rate my brain was going when I made that post, yes. :(

I have fixed the original post to read the proper "50 kph".

The capacious of roads and avenues are also identical on a per-tile basis in the NAM traffic simulator.  The sole exception to this is the Classic version of the traffic simulator, which has slightly higher avenue capacities, as it's designed to resemble the Maxis traffic simulator to the extent possible without degrading performance.
