They are Islamists. It is in their best interests to keep as many people ignorant. You know, because factual knowledge stands in the way of blind faith.

I wouldn't say it's Islamists as a whole, so much as it is extremists utilizing a series of cogitated doctrines triumphantly masquerading as Islam's true religious principles and practices. Essentially, using the religion as a scapegoat for their appalling, degenerative activities. It's quite upsetting that this is the case, given how at one time in the world's history, Islamic states were at the forefront of science and technology, only to be reduced by the callous actions of a relative few.

That isn't all.  More than half of the visible to the eye stars in the night sky have Arabic names and it is not an accident.  When the Moorish civilization died, a lot of things died with it.  The great libraries at Timbuktu, which are the equivalent of the great library at Alexandria, have recently been destroyed by some of these so-called Islamists.

 

Repositories of ancient knowledge are becoming fewer and farther between as the barbarians move in.  Perhaps instead of Islamists everyone should call them Barbarians.
