Building outside the box..

I keep opening SimCity and closing after a few mintues when I again realize I can only build so much. Aside from there only being a few buildings in the game, It kills me that I can't connect my cities. Are we ever going to be able to "build outside the (tiny) box?"

  • Don't blame me, I moved here from Baltimore, and I hate it.. However, here's my point:

West Hollywood is it's own city, within Los Angeles, Bordered by Beverly Hills, Los Angeles (Hills to the north, Hollywood to the east). Santa Monica is nearby, Culver City, Venice, etc.. In New York City you have boroughs, and neighborhoods in the boroughs. I don't mind that we can't access the whole region at once, and pathfinding can do whatever it wants if ONLY a section is accessed at a time. Why isn't this possible???
