Graphic Issue Windows 8

Hi everyone. I am having graphical issue in SC4 Deluxe Edition on Windows 8. I have a custom screen size of 1600x900 however the issue still occurs in any of the in game resolution settings. I have updated windows on my laptop and the on board video card. Im not sure what else to try. Any ideas on what I can do?

It seems like some rendering engine glitch, so try to add one of these to your shortcut parameters:

 

-d:DirectX <-- (default if I'm not mistaken)

-d:OpenGL

-d:Software

 

Some plugins like some water mods require a specific rendering engine so check your plugins readme's before you do this.

Sadly the OpenGL option doesn't work.  Some glitch in the programming.

 

I'd suggest you add the option -CPUCount:1 to your command target (don't forget the leading space).

 

In your GPU control panel, set all 3D options to "application selected" or equivalent.
