When I want to move the screen above my city. The trees disappear while moving.

I know it is a problem with the graphic card. I have a great pc with a video card (club 3). I can play the game with the highest resolution. But while moving the screen i see no trees. Any knows how to solve this?

First remember that this is a legacy game and a wonderful video card is a hindrance not an advantage.  The game was written between 2000 and 2003 when it was released.  Your video card may be killing your trees.

Check the controls on your video card and make sure that the 3D controls are set so that the program being loaded can select the ones it needs.  This is usually worded as something like "application selected".

Your great PC might well be taking a sledge hammer to a gnat.  If it is multi-core you need to prevent any dispatching follies in your operating system by adding the option -CPUcount:1 to your shortcut's Target line.  Don't forget to put a space before the hyphen in all options which go after the final quote of the complete pathname of the game.

At the same time, if you are now sick and tired of "challenge everything", you can turn off the intro move with -intro:off

You might want to add options to allow a 16:9 screen if you have the very latest hardware.  Here is a link to all the command line options for this game; and here is my command line (Linux) as far as it applied to you.

"C:/Program Files (x86)/Maxis/SimCity 4 Deluxe/Apps/SimCity 4.exe"  -intro:off -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -d:directx  -f -CPUcount:1

If you look these options up, you'll find I force DirectX rendering and run full screen with a 1080p monitor.

SC4 is detecting your video card as crap. Literally, something from around 2000 that couldn't run SC4 if its family was threatened with execution. One of the things SC4 does to try to work with crap is that it disables graphical rendering of things when scrolling around. To fix the issue, follow the instructions in thread.
