Hello:

Although I have finally been able to put my BAT on a TE highway in my game, for some reason it doesn't light up.47.gif I have read other posts with the same problem but was unable to resolve my problem24.gif  Below is a picture of the GMAX and it in my game. I have attempted to create the highway lights both as a PROP (1) and as a BUILDING (2), neither light up. You with see a traffic sign in the 2nd picture as well. I created the light for the sign so I have some experience with lights. But this is the first time I have had problems I can't figure out46.gif. See below:
No%20Lights.jpg

No%20Lights2.jpg

For the PROP version (1) I have set the lights to true. For the BAT itself both lights I used the nitelite prefix. I checked the lighting in the BAT by using a base and the lights worked. I'm unsure what to do next. Any ideas???42.gif
Thanks for your help 44.gif

    Hey Hordijk my good friend.29.gif

Thanks for helping me out again44.gif I'll give that a try although I doubt it will work since I have already spaced the prefix out before in other BAT's. I probably just have a bad BAT46.gif I'll more than likely redo it. I just wanted to check to see if I missed anything. Luckily it's a very small BAT2.gif
Thanks again Hordijk. I appreciate it44.gif

Sorchin:  You do need to have no spaces between the prefix and the ID.  Props are inherently hard to light.  If all else fails, if you can use it as a lot, you could use the ingame street light props in the Lot Editor.

Maybe if you post in the more technical BAT forums you could get more informed members to solve the issue.

    Thanks tungston:

I'll try it with no spaces although as I have said I haven't needed to do it before44.gif Your right, this is a more technical issue, unfortunatly I find some of the questions I have posted in those forums before barely even get looked at let alone answered8.gif
The ingame street lights? That's an idea. Perhaps if all else fails I'll try that29.gif
    Thanks my friend.44.gif

Yes, I know of what you speak.19.gif But I won't put my thoughts in print.

I have a BAT I use as a building, and a prop, the lights work perfectly with the building, but won't with the prop, not even the night windows.  There must be a way to make them work, I just haven't found it yet.

The ingame street lights are hard to work with, because of the placement, and will change location with different views.  But they are better than nothing.
