Hi !

I cam across an article regarding the census repository and it seemed interesting ? There was a lot of talk about dependencies and conflicts and being a newbie i could not make much sense of it. So to ask simply,

I have SC4-Deluxe latest (all patched up) with NAM latest. What do i need for the census repository to work and do i need to remove anything ?

thanks in advance

Here is the link for that.  To download this you must be registered on SC4Devotion and the LEX as well.  Separate logins.

The full details including links to dependencies are on the page I linked for you.

This one provides an example of too much information.

If I'm using SPAM, does the information still valid?

Because jobs distribution is different from original farm. I also used the reader to reduced the number of jobs available in SPAM.

And I'm using cogeo's version (chamber of commerce & industry).

Cogeo's file just uses a different building, the "engine" is in the dependency, the original Census Repository.

The info you find reflects the changed situation with SPAM. You can see the huge amount of jobs agriculture suddenly provides.

I did my own calculation and it seems that this mod sees SPAM farms as Maxis farms.

In my agricultural city, the "residential drives" from the display is largely different from my calculation (over 30% of discrepancies). In 2 other city (no farms), the discrepancy is lower than 4%.  And if I use original Maxis farms job distribution percentage in my calculation for the agricultural city, the numbers are almost spot on.

OK, I didn't calculate any drives, I just saw numbers like 60,000 for farm jobs in the table, which looks out of bounds for Maxis, and didn't check what the mod makes with those in the calculations.
