Once again, Australia's Prime Minister has changed.

Personally, I'm glad to see the last person in this country to convincingly win an election restored to the office of PM. But how will he fare in September against Abbott? I don't think there's any denying that Labour now has a better chance with Rudd than they ever did with Gillard, but can he pull it off?

I haven't heard a lot of positive things about Kevin Rudd, but in politics, the memory doesn't always work too well. I can't imagine the Labor party will win, but you never know. As this has shown, perception is really important, and maybe Rudd can improve that perception of the government (although I wouldn't be tempted to vote for a party that is more busy opposing itself than opposing Tony Abbott, and I'm probably not the only one, but yeah, I'm not an Australian).

Let's not forget that he was removed from office for a reason.

Keep in mind the position is still vacant. The 4 non aligned seats still have to guarantee confidence and supply. It would be masochistically amusing if they didn't.
