Black lines help!

I see no black lines here. 

 

But you can get rid of the never to be sufficiently damned intro movie using the -intro:off option on the target line once you've seen it often enough.  EA doesn't live up to that motto of "Challenge everything".  In fact they are very sensitive to criticism these days.

 

If you are referring to the rectilinear grid, the 'g' key toggles it.

 

Remember that every option goes after the final quote and one space precedes the hyphen.

I don't see any black lines either...if you're talking about that box popping up in the bottom right corner, that's some notification on your desktop.

 

Also consider Nonny's advice about turning off the grid with the 'G' key.

 

If that's not your problem, posting a full-resolution image will help us see what you're talking about (you need to upload it to an image-hosting site to post it; ImageShack allows you to post hi-resolution images).

    if you look at 0:22 you see black stripes on the sides of my screen thats what i mean

    You mean your game is 'pillarboxed' (but that's not something we can see in your video ;) ). This is probably related to the resolution. If you want the game to use another resolution you can use this method to change it to a custom one: link
