SimCity Let's Play need help

Hey guys I am currently making a SimCity Let's Play and I was wondering if you could check it out and leave some constructive criticism.

First few points:

 

You should start with an explanation what you want to show in a video. Edit out your empty running moments.

 

When starting off with 50k simoleons spending it all on medium avenues is simply a waste. You wouldn't have traffic jams even on dirt roads with 1000 people. + zonning on avenues is a rookie mistake.

 

Sims don't like crossing streets to go to shopping or work. They want it down or up street max 8 homes in either direction. After that they have to drive. And they like to drive only twice as far as walking distance.
