SAM not working with NAM/SPAM

I have SimCity 4 Deluxe downloaded. I modded for NAM and SPAM, and they both seem to work. I followed the directions for the Street Addon Mod, and can't get any of them to load.  Am I missing something? I installed into the Plugins folder. Was it supposed to be installed somewhere else?

The Street Addon Mod is included in the NAM, as of the most recent version (31.1), and can be installed from the installer package.  If you downloaded a separate copy of the SAM, don't use it--it is not compatible with the current NAM and is not supported.

 

The SPAM is not a transit mod, so there is no real interaction there.

To use the SAM streets you'll have to plop a starter piece that you'll find in your roads menu. Press Tab to cycle through the different textures, lay down the starter piece and drag a street from it.

Since you mentioned you use the SPAM, don't forget to delete the SPAM traffic controller if you haven't already, as it seems to interfere in a bad way with the NAM conroller.
