How does the Police Precinct Work? I plopped one down  but the blue police line only covers a small portion of my map. Do I need more police cars? Need to build additional stations in different areas? Also does the dispatch tower do anything?

 

Since the blue only covers a small area of the map does that mean crime outside the blue area will go unchecked?

Watch the police cars. The more you have, the larger area they will cover and the blue will follow them, that is the blue area will expand with the cars.

It will take time for police coverage to extend and handle crime problems.
