City-Builders Association

The City-Builders Association (also known as the CBA) is a brand new community of city-builders and mayors that just opened its doors to the public in April 2013. Come join in on a multitude of community activities and features such as Picture Competitions & Tournaments, Tutorials, CJ Union (read below), Arcade (w/ Leaderboard), and much more (and even more to come)! We're currently still quite small, but our members range from expert veteran to curious newbie alike, and come from countries across the globe. All of us are fans of city-building & management games, which is what brought us together in the first place. Whether it's SimCity, Cities XL, Cities in Motion, or even Minecraft - there's a spot for it in the CBA. If you're looking for a fresh and active community just getting off the ground, where you can ask for help, post screenshots, or just lounge around - the City-Builders Association is the place for you!

The CBA runs off of IP.Board 3.4 (the same as Simtropolis) so if you're familiar with how this site works, you should have no trouble finding your way around.

Union of Nations (UoN)

The Union of Nations, or UoN (also simply referred to as "The Union"), is a CJ Union and sub-community of the City-Builders Association. Every member of The Union is the caretaker of a country that they created, and acts as an ambassador (or other roles) for their nation and interacts in role-play and events with other UoN members. If you'd like to learn more, have a look through our FAQ as it contains most of the information you need to know about the UoN.

What separates us from the rest is that we don't use Earth as our base. All nations in The Union are created by members within a completely unique world map. Everything down to the finest detail can be described by you! We're currently deciding on the map design, but that will be finalized April 20th and available for use afterward. If you'd like to participate and help choose what map we use, register and vote in this thread. Though we may not be set on Earth, UoN Members are free to adopt real-world people, places, and events for use in their nations' history/culture.

We also just opened sign-ups for the first ever UoN Event. Members can sign up teams for the Union International Football Association (UIFA) and compete in exhibition tournaments and games, as well as enter into our Annual International Union Football Tournament (AIUFT) for the chance to win the coveted IFA World Cup. Games are simulated in Football Manager 2012 and will be posted to YouTube, so you can actually watch your team(s) compete!

The UoN will also eventually have its own wiki, but not until more members have joined.
