A new review from Eurogamer today.

I almost felt bad for this reviewer as he explained his experience.

Feel like 4/10 is a bit harsh. This game is no SC4. It's not a pile of garbage either. I'd give it a 6/10.

...but then again I'm not the one getting paid to write reviews. :)

Pretty ignorant review to be honest. He complains that the mechanics are broken (some of which are, mind you, or at least not perfectly functioning) but he demonstrates not to know how things work, making his judgement pretty much irrelevant.

Easy example to spot is when he complains about population dropping suddenly, that would be an extremely easy riddle to solve for anyone that knows the most basic working on the game. Land value increases, poor condos get replaced by rich ones that allow for less residents, so the population drops.

Whatever one thinks about the game, he should at least know what he's talking about. This dude obviously does not.

There are days that I look at the issues coming out of this game and wonder if there wasn't some low level sabatoge going on.  As in the folks on the coding floor did things the managment never bothered to check up on.
