Cultural city - possible without casinos ?

Hey Guys,

 

I wanted to ask if anyone managed to establish a cultural focused city without the casinos? I seem to never get much tourists if the casinos are not present.

Use the Expo-center to get tourists into your city, or even better the Pro-Stadium (Note that this is INSANE generation of tourists be sure your hotels can deal with it) (Spam events every day)

 

I managed before using the expo-center, after using it I got an additional 3k extra tourists, and my surplus ended on +12k, getting a high-attraction landmark is truly helpful in generating profit as well.

BTW: Are you able to get a culture-specialization icon near to your city name in region view?
