Dragging FAR roads in NAM31?

According to the feature list in this version, it's supposed to have draggable FAR roads (yes I know it's redundant, but sounds weird if I leave out the second 'roads'), but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. I also tried to use the FAR puzzle pieces to accomplish my goals but that didn't work either - except in the rarest, seemingly random occasions, I just couldn't get the pieces to line up. They'd rotate freely if I held them out in the open, but the moment I put them close to an existing puzzle piece they'd stubbornly refuse to orient in a useful direction...

I did read that this version is still buggy... Should I revert to an older version? And will that cause problems with existing NAM content?

Draggable FAR (Leave out the second Road, it's completely redundant) is one of the few things that are completely stable, reverting back down to NAM 30 will break any new features in NAM 31 (the only thing that's incompatible with the NAM are other versions of the NAM, and you can't mix and match other versions of the NAM and expect different things from both to work simultaneously), and read the documentation (It's all there).

What you are describing isn't draggable FAR, you are describing the puzzle pieces. In your Network Addon Mod-folder in your Plugins-folder is a folder 'Documentation'. There are pictures that describe the patterns you need to drag for FAR.

Which the OP stated.

You again! You're my hero, haha. Yeah kinda figured reverting would be problematic, but you never know! And thanks for pointing me to the documentation - I actually did look for a help file before coming here! Every other mod I've downloaded has just had a little readme or instructions file, I didn't think to look for a whole documentation folder among everything else. This should occupy me for a while, might have to give myself a ton of money in an empty city for some experimentation.

And, I did manage to figure out the puzzle pieces just before coming back. Turned out it was a combination of stupidity and UI issues. The roads kept clipping under the terrain making it hard to figure out what was going on, and I'm pretty sure all those times the pieces failed to orient in the way I wanted them to was because I was mixing the wrong angles together. Which I really should've been paying attention to, given I was trying to make my fractionally angled roads angled differently...

Can't thank you enough for your fast and informative replies! If I get drawn back into this game like I was when it first came out I might have to reconsider donating; can't have this resource shut down on me! :)

I finally had time to get back to it and experiment with draggable FAR, works great once you get the hang of it! I'd just like to make sure that other than the roundabout, there aren't any patterns for one way roads, right (might be some of the simple curve patterns worked, slipped my mind)?

And second, in the documentation for draggable far the roads have cul de sacs on them. I downloaded the only cul de sac mod I found but it only applies to streets. Not a big deal but I'm curious :)

That's because you downloaded the one that was made solely for Streets and didn't use the one that was made specifically for the NAM. Screenshot pending if needed, but if you go into the NAM installer and go under "Main Road Texture Style", there should be an option for "Retextured Standard Road Textures". That's the one you want.
