Few questions about this game...

I'm not going to buy this game right now but most likely down the road when it gets cheaper. I have a few questions in regard to the game.

 

1. In 16 player regions, are cities really only grouped in isolated groups of 4?  So your Sims will only commute to 3 other cities? I've heard that the only thing shared across all 16 cities is tech upgrades. If so that is a major disappointment.

 

2. When do you think the price of this game will be in the ~$25 range? With all of the limitations and bugs, $60 is simply too much for me to spend on this game.

 

3. When do you think they will bring back things from SC4 like modding, terraforming, contiguous cities, and big cities?

 

4. What is the free game that people who purchased this before 03/18 will get? If it's something new like Crysis 3 I might just get this game right now but knowing EA that's probably not going to be the case.

1. I don't know for sure

 

2. At least 6-9 months to see any drop. A drop to $25-ish will be at least a year (or until there are a couple addons to buy)

 

3. Since anything you do has to be reflected online on their servers for other people to see, I honestly doubt you will ever see free terraforming and modding like SC4 had. Bigger cities they've mentioned, contiguous would require altering how the pre-made connections are made. They may be appear adjoined, but the smaller roads from one may not automatically link to another.

 

4. I'd be amazed if it's Crysis 3. If they've announced what game(s) you have a choice of receiving I haven't seen it.
