Cultural Specialization - how to select?

Hello Everyone,

 

I apologize in advance if my question is silly.

 

I am unable to select cultural specialization for my city. In my region I noticed that ppl started to get a little icons next to their cities - showing which they are specializing in. I went into the Specialization menu, constructed the buildings, but I have no idea how to make a city into that spec.

 

Can someone be so kind to shed some light onto this?

If you mean tourism it's the 2nd to last icon on the right in the specialization menu or a Camera. There you'll find landmaks and the large venues.

I think the OP means he can't select the "Guide Me" button for culture like you can for the other specializations. I don't seem to have that button either...

Indeed, the one that results in your city "acquiring" a specialization and the little icon appears at the name in the region view.

 

This option seems to be missing now. Maybe when first DLC arrives :
