So how did the European launch go?

Were people actually able to play the game or was it the same crap all over again? We did get a promise from EA saying that this wouldn't happen when the game launched in Europe but then again believing EA is like believing a used car salesman.

Better than the NA launch, less people had server issues in Europe.

Was able to play the game in the UK on Friday morning (7am GMT, so 2am East Coast US), since getting home from work not been able to play. Have got onto the actual game, even got to a screen which showed an option for me to continue my city from the morning, couldn't actually get into it though.

 

Edit: And as soon as I post that I'm able to get into the game. Woohoo!!

The game just came out yesterday in the UK, I couldn't even get past the tutorial before the servers booted me out for some reason...

 

Worse there was no UK server...

Its 2:30am UK time, and I can finally play the game on a Western Europe server. Because most of Europe is now in bed.

 

I did manage 30 minutes of play on the Oceana server about 8 hours ago when I fisrt got the game installed, before getting booted off.

 

Annoying thing is that the save games are server specific, so the stuff I did earlier is not available on any other server.
