I'm waiting for round 2 of this....when people actually begin to play and find even if it had single player, they would chuck it from their hard drives.

Always on line is not the only thing wrong with this game.

I LOLed so hard because they thought the White House has the time, authority, and concern over an online single player game!

If you get the whitehouse one to work or even get a few thousand it will end up on the NATIONAL news.

Maybe we should sign it...

I agree with you totally. I think the server issue is hiding the the limitations of the game. This release shows why you shouldn't preorder anything and wait for a few days to see how a game is received to make a decison on whether to buy or not.

The SimCity server problems already made it to national news, and made it even to INTERNATIONALLY-RENOWNED news, such as the New York Times, the BBC, and the CBC.  However, that is not enough.  I signed the petition already.

And none of it is going to affect EAs policies or strategic directives. Online play as DRM on top of microtransactions is the adopted business model. A return from that would present severe issues for investment dependancies. It is just not going to happen. EA knows full well that for every person who turns it into a matter of principle or discontent there is a global volume market of alternates who take a lot less handling to keep buying quietly.

Up to 55,000 now!

Not sure it will do any good but it would be a laugh to get all 75,000

The only way to make EA realize their mistakes is don't buy or don't play the game. They need us (customers), without us, they're nothing.  :P

I totally agree! Sadly there are a lot of suckers out there, even in this forum, who are not interested in taking a stand and trying to get a refund.
