Servers Completely Shut Down?

I clicked on the link and got this:



I tried all of the servers, rebooted, and uninstalled - are the servers completely down? 
I played the game for maybe a total of four hours, and each time my region gets deleted because I am forced to try a new server.

Mine actualy authenticates and then I get to the main menu and get this:

Having a similar problem, i can enter game on a server but can never establish a connection to play. I've tried all the available servers and same result for all.

Same! 
I tried again, managed to get on and then the game crashed!

Yeah mine game did the same thing (authenticated twice - got it once and then tried to resume, game got stuck on the loading screen and then decided it couldn't authenticate)

 

No wonder they have so  much trouble, if they lowered the authentication to something like once per day / week / month, they'd have a lot less issues with the servers being overloaded.

They'll work out all the bugs by the time Sim City 6 (single player) is released.
