So tomorrow simcity 5 will be released in Europe, does this mean I can buy and download the game from origin at midnight? Was this the case
with the NA release? Or did people in north america had to wait till the morning.



Also do you expect the servers to go down again like the NA release?

Expect the servers to go down.  If they couldn't get it running for NA, then Europe will have the same issues.

 

And expect to be disappointed.  Simcity 4 is still a better game, unfortunately.

 

It does have its merits, but it's definitely a restart of this franchise.  By SimCity 4 in 2018 it should be pretty amazing.

Or... they knew what happend with NA launch, and had a few days to fix it and are now able to do a proper launch... Maybe

 

And I have spend a couple hours watching streams of people playing it and I like it way more than 4.

 

Anyway, this doesn't really answer my question: Will EU have a midnight launch?

Friday for me in the UK! Amazon still has my order as 'not yet dispatched'. Hoping for a Friday delivery!

Hopefully Ubisofts uplay does the same, and releases it at midnight.
