Wow, Fredval, I really enjoyed reading this last page, really neat, well, as for back as i can remember your work has allways been Top-Notch 2.gif

Finnegans Wake, Love this name, sounds very neat and Irish, and as all irish things do with me stirr up memories from my time living there, and beeing a rural town, it fits perfectly with the name. And i really enjoy watching villages grow, and the way youve used coustom lots, well, WOW!

And the only constructive crittisism i could find to post, on the last picture, the global view of Pa

    CLEOTINE RIVER

    Today we go 200 hundred kilometers East of FINNEGANS WAKE. I want to show you the strange area of CLEOTINE RIVER. This river snakes between high mountains down to the sea.

    This area is particularly interesting for its geological curiousity : some granite spines called by the settlers : SATAN'S BACKBONE.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/fredval58.jpg align=baseline>

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/fredval60.jpg align=baseline>

    This sharp landscape, place of refuge for many inhospitable wild species, such as javelins, was not the best place on Aldebaran for human visitors to settle. The first settlement in the area was CLEO, a small mountain village, hooked on a rocky outcrop and surrounded with towers and fortress.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/fredval63.jpg align=baseline>

    This picture shows a small farm a few kilometers east from Cleo. Life is hard for these peasants, the weather in Winter is a real nightmare and protecting the cattle against the attacks of javelins, bears, wolves and other predators, is a hopeless job.

    Fantastic pictures. I'm amazed that the CycleDogg mod goes so well with settlements.

    I like the rural, kinda medieval feel of your CJ. The fortress in that scenic landscape looks great... I don't know why I missed that CJ for so long.

    Keep it up.

    Thanks to Ma8thew, MayorTim, Sloppet for their nice comments.

    Many thanks to Lilou and Jacqulina for their daily encouragements !  It really pushes me to continue and improve my creations everyday.

    ShadowAssassin : my world map is not complete, there are too many holes in it. You'll have to wait for a while...

    Jeronij, you are right : I have hundreds of customized lots. You can't imagine !  (Well, actually, I'm sure that you can imagine 2.gif)

    To finish with the Cleotine River, I'd like to show you a picture of a small village defying the laws of nature, the Matchu Pitchu of Aldebaran : SAN ANTONIO OF THE SPUR. This village was named after its unbelievable situation on a rocky spur.

    And here are eventually two overall views of this part of Cleotine River :

    That last update's just stunning... I'm really amazed by the terrain you've created, but even more I'm amazed by how well you've incorporated your towns to the surrounding hills, etc.

    Keep up the good work!

    It looks to me like the Christmas easter egg. If you set your computer's date to December 25, all terrain above a certain height is snow, and all ground textures are snow.
