Im a registered member why wont my downloads appear in the game from this site?

Ok i see your new to this site soo welcome! And in order to see buildings in the game u do the following

1. download the file

2. extract the file

3.drag it into the simcity4 folder

4.click on the simcity 4 folder

5.drag the file into your plugins folder

6.done!

P.S some files have to be installed into the computer so some files may cotain the link to the download!

A registered member of this site or something else? What version of the game do you have?

I have the PC version. When I click on a file and press the green download button. there no icon for me to extract the file only the read me and some screenshots but no way to actually download and extract.

What type of file that you download ? A .rar or a .zip ? You must have WinRAR or WinZip at least, to make it possible for you to open the file and extract them to your Documents/SimCIty4/Plugins.

There's not enough information for us to help. Just wanna add what Moose and Jason already asked. First of all, what version of game do you have, SimCity Vanilla, or Rush Hour/Deluxe? What version number is your game.exe? Do you have at least 7Zip or WinRar installed in your computer?

Once you provide us with adequate answers, we can then give you further explanation concerning your issue.

When you download something from here it will be a compressed archive. You need to save it in a separate folder (C:\Documents\Downloads for instance), then unpack it, examine the documentation and move the relevant bits to your C:\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins folder. You cannot run these files because they are not executable as they stand on the server. Set your browser to ask where to put downloads and act accordingly.
