i made a topic to cover the more detailed info on how the
regions will work and the theory on where the cities will be placed.

You must make it to a few of the region meetings. Or have a way
for me to contact you. We will be starting to play out our cities in the
next week. Next Region meeting on mumble. Saturday, February 16th @ 6pm

All regions are full. Thank you for being apart of my our Regions. Please try to make it to a meeting. Make sure that you have me added to you Origin friends. Message me to make sure i know your on there. I will be going down the list with who i know is on my friends list in the next few weeks. Please post or message me with the details about the type of city you want. This will help me know where to put you.

Focus: Hardcore play for leaderboards
Start Date: As soon as i can get one after launch
Mode: Normal - disasters, challenges and leaderboards enabled
Layout: TBA
Governance: Majority vote to coordinate major changes and great works choices
Requirements: Max 1 city per person. Up to 2 in special cases with consent of the region. You Must add me to your Origin friends list before launch of game. This is a team region and you will be required to work together. You will be expected to help each other and work on your city as much as you can. Being on Mumble it not required but highly suggested.

I will be checking this post along with all the others from other forums. So feel free to sign up here if you would like.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Hardcore free for all. For leader Boards. Its free for all because you are more then likly going to have to change your city in order to max it out support others and get on those leader boards. This is a Team region.

How can you organise this when you don't even know what regions will be available in the game? (Referring mostly to the resource description) And not all regions will be 16 cities big....

The simple idea of forming groups that may want to play together. Does not need detail about the game in order to make at the least a basic group. More details will be avable later and we all know that. What restrictions there will be is also unknown. That is why i am going to provide a team speak server so that people can come together and talk about the details they may want in there region. Please read my post a little more carfuly and you will see this. "If resources is even an option." This team speak will be open for people that are in the groups or not. so even if you dont sige up now at least you would be able to make some friends on a more personal level then in forums.

There may be more options on what there is when one has to set up a region. Please take this as the understanding that i am not in beta and even if i was i would be under NDA to even talk about what features may or may not be in the game.

Has this guild been made? Give me a link to this Simcity guild. This is not the only attempt to make a group. There are many other fan sites out there making there groups right now. I just put my group listing on more then one forum site. I do not mean to impose.

Nothing has been made yet. It was just raised as a topic for discussion, as well as the possibility of some form of forum organization for groups. That, of course, would be a future consideration.

Woot, Yes there needs to be a way to get gamers that WANT the interactive experience of SC2013 to get together. In MMO's everyone starts "solo" and if they want to, joins a guild/clan. In SC2013 I cant see starting a "solo" city then join a region. BUT, I can see regions, set up just for multiplayer regions, and the Governor have limited inter-city control.

In SC2013, it would be great to have a feature where a "Governor" could custom pick a region, send out invitations, accept players who all have a common goal, and to expel players from the region. Intercity control would guide the region, but each player controls there own city. Call it a Metro-Council, in honor of New York City, or a Regional-Council in honor of www.narc.org .

Put me down as a player, I'll fill the roll that is needed, or the city location/resources has the competitive advantage to succeed.

I have a large clan and am looking to add SimCity to http://warriornation.net. I personally am looking to lead it up and am a hardcore SimCity fan since the first one. I posted up a thread before seeing this one to discuss exactly how to leverage clans for this game,

I have the foundations to organize and operate a clan for this game, I just need a bunch of cool new friends who want to join me in creating it.

I'd like to be involved in this as I'm looking for some people to play with.  I will be getting the game on launch day and I will be playing it a lot.  I'd like to tackle a high tech/education city and could also do 2 cities that would also include police/fire/hospital HQs to support the region.  Origin account is same user name as this one.  

 

I would rather be in group 1 or 3 if possible as I like disasters on, but would do 2 if no openings become available.
