BA+ Help.

So I installed SimCity 3000 Unlimited that came with Building Architect Plus (BA+) last month. My computer runs Windows 7 Starter. The game runs fine but BA+ always crashes when I run it, even though I set it to run as Administrator. Anyone can help me with this? Is there a patch that fixes this problem?

Hmm, I mean, I guess I'd try SP2, first, but it wouldn't hurt to try both if SP3 doesn't work.

Nope, both SPs 2 and 3 won't work.

I'm not aware of any patches, but that doesn't mean someone else isn't. Let's see if anyone else replies.

Sounds like you might have the same sort of issue that causes SC4 to crash on newer computers: namely, that the game cannot run properly on multiple CPU cores.

Try adding "-CPUcount:1" (minus the quotes) to the target of the shortcut and see if that helps.

Never used it before, but I just tried and it works fine on my Win7 SP1 x64 PC with nothing configured out of the norm. No idea why this wouldn't run for you then... couldn't be anything to do with your windows edition could it? Tried reinstalling?
