Change distance blur effect in SimCity

I watched the Maxis Live Brodcast on YouTube and I noticed that the distance-blur effect is used a bit too much for my taste. Is there an option to change that effect so I can see more clearly into the distance? If this question has been answered already, link me in where it's been asked....Thanks-

hard to tell which graphic settings you are able to make in a game that's about 4 months far from being released, isn't it?

to my knowledge, all we know so far about the game is related to the gameplay itself
