Hello!

I Just brought an Imac last night and was trying to play Sim City 4 using a cd rom but no idea how to get it started.

I've heard that alot of windows games aren't usuable on imac so was wondering if anyone can show me how to download it or links to where i can buy a mac version etc as i can't find it anywhere.

Someone also mention to me something called bootcamp? any ideas please! i just want to start building lol!

You can't run windows programs on macs, and visa versa, so to be able to play SimCity on mac you need to by the mac versions of the game. They are out there somewhere, try a local apple store, but they are probably rare now, its been a long time since they came out. You could try ebay too, with probably a better success rate.

Bootcamp runs a windows partition on your imac, so you will need a copy of a windows operating system, but that means that you will be able to load windows apps, but only when you boot into windows.

So I have sim city 4 deluxe as a dmg for mac. For a while it sent me an error message. After I installed a patch it got rid of the error message but started asking for the actual disk. Any Help?

The pc version of SC4 work runs very happily on my iMac using Crossover (http://www.crossover.com). The company are even giving it away for free to everyone who downloads it on 31st Oct :)
