Newbie question

Hi everyone, Im new here. I have SC4 rush hour, and I downloaded Eaton region, when I went to open it, it said "region bit map is incorrect..." Any ideas?

witch method did you use for installing the bitmap?

sc4 terraformer/mapper or sc4's "ctrl+alt+shift+R" command ?

EDIT: also, Eaton is a massive region if i recall. make sure you have the correct config in the desired region name folder....

The config (a bmp file) needs to be created using red, green, or blue pixels that are recognized by the game. It also needs to be the correct size that matches that of the greyscale image (a jpg file). To see if the the two images match, multiply the length and width of the config by 64 and add 1. Those should be the dimensions of the greyscale image. Also, the config needs to named just that - "config".

Looking at the Eaton map (), it looks like it should be okay. The config is 32 x 32. Using the above formula that will give a greyscale of 2049 x 2049, which is what it is. I installed the Eaton map a while back, so I'm pretty sure it should work. Are you selecting the jpg file when using the ctrl+alt+shift+R command?
