I recommend you watch the video again, and look closley and listen as to how the question gets answered.

The thread title is funny...I haven't bought the game yet how to miss anything... But ok just jokin' I get the idea, map size of course. No all of the above plus many more. Anyway it is not the biggest deal if I don't like the final game because I got few other sim games to distract myself.

I would miss it if regions have a total playable space of less than 20 towns. Many SimCity 4 regions were larger than that and Cities XL has the equivalent of 25 towns.
