Trouble with Seaports

    Hi guys,

I'm having a little trouble with my PEG seaports - specifically the rail connection.

I've only been playing around with this so far - testing if it works, and, well, it doesn't. The seaport takes freight by road but not by rail, even when industry has no alternative output for its freight and no direct road connection to the port.

The issue is the same with both the PEG break bulk seaport and the container seaport.

I read somewhere that this topic has already been addressed in the forums, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

And before anyone asks, I am using NAM

Probably just a matter of patience. It works for me. Here is an example. Notice that both local and remote freight hit the trains, but not all of it.

Made this port this morning in about an hour of work.

Have you make the freight depot where the goods could be transported from your industrial parks to the port?

^ You'll notice that I did in this case, and freight came to it from elsewhere. Some of the port installations (at least one) bypassed the station and put its output directly on the train.

I remember having this problem when I started using CDK3 ports and it suddenly cleared up though no action on my part. Maybe it is all in the way you hold your mouth (smile).
