Cities xl loader problem (Version 1.0.0.297)

Hey all, i bought the game ages ago but lost all my patches, i am currently running version 1.0.0.297 but can log in. i have found a CXL_1.0.3.297_to_CXL_1.1.0.457-B4 patch but i have no way of going from my current version to 1.0.3.297.

Can some one help me with this as i would like to start replaying the game, thanks for any help.

Oh wow.... you actually still have CXL 2009????? Well, it's a big world....

Ok, I can offer you two solutions:

1 (preferred, and not because I'm trying to sell the game) - upgrade to CXL 2011, at least. The game is not multiplayer-online anymore, it's single player, has metro and a gazilion mods you coul use at www.xlnation.net.

2. Go to http://forum.citiesxl.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=90

Here you'll find instructions and a download link for the patch that allows you to play CXL 2009 offline.

I have tried a ton of these patches and still nothing. it says i have the latest updates available but i still cant log in. I bought a ysed copy off amazon for 10 buck and have been trying to run it for three hours now. This is such bull!!! i have the patch (1.1.0.457) installed but it still wants me to register through a sit that, by the looks of it, is no longer there!!! some one help me with this crap...Please!!!

the other issue i may have is that i never had a user count on that site so... I hope someone has an answer for me.

Cities XL original is no longer supported. Cities XL 2011 is better in every which way possible.

Hm, if the patches don't work, than I'm afraid I have no answer for you.....

But Ocram is right - for a little more you could upgrade to CXL 2011 which is better in every way, and I bet it won't require registration. By the way, you DO have a valid CDkey, right? Because then you should be entitled to 50% discount on CXL 2011.
