Hi. I have installed, again because I've reinstalled Linux Mint 13, and something strange happens, I don't know why or what exactly. Well, just look:

I have adjusted all the video configurations (SC4, hardly; Wine) , but nothing changes.

How can I solve this?

Upside down? This has got to be something in your GPU controls. The scene has been rotated through 180 degrees. I don't think wine can do this, so it must be hardware. You didn't stick a minus sign anywhere did you?

    Upside down, that's the description that I was looking for.

    Well, I have inspected all the video configurations of the system, all of them are correct. The configuration of Wine, Wineprefix, DirectX, OpenGL, are also correct. Is only SC4, so only could be one thing: sc4.sh, this is the actual:
#!/bin/bash date env WINEPREFIX="/home/alejandro24/.wine" \ wine "C:/Program Files/Maxis/SimCity 4 Deluxe/Apps/SimCity 4.exe" \ -intro:off -CustomResolution:enabled -r1024x600x32 -d:software \ &>~/sc4.log date
New line added: -d:software \.

    Is something annoying how a single line can put all the world upside down.

    Beats me. Yours looks like a copy of mine:

    #!/bin/bash

    date

    env WINEPREFIX="/home/john/.wine" \

    wine "C:/Program Files/Maxis/SimCity 4 Deluxe/Apps/SimCity 4.exe" \

    -intro:off -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -d:software\

    -f -CPUcount:1 &>~/sc4.log

    date

    Is your display turned upside down? It is so neat that it really implies something physical. Did you try a cold boot (power the machine off).

    The only real difference is that I force full screen (-f).

    Of course it looks like a copy of your script. You sent to me the code through a PM, don't you remember?

    And yes, the only difference in the -f for full screen, actually I don't need it, it runs in full screen (is in a netbook). Is working now, the new line added make it work correctly. But only SC4 were upside down, the rest of the system like nothing happened, working normal. That was totally strange.

    No, I have not tried a cold boot. Well, what's that?

    Cold boot. Log off the operating system. Power the machine down. Power up, and log in again. I truly hope you don't use default automatic login. It is more trouble than it is worth. Laptops with automatic suspend give me the willies.
