Unemployment, commute time, and transportation problems

So my city St. Lutherans has grown to about 100,000 people so far in the last few days, and although I'm seeing substantial growth in it's population and commercial sectors I'm still seeing widespread problems with commute times as many high wealth R$$$ and some medium wealth R$$ have started to become abandoned. My subway and bus systems connect most of the city and commercial jobs outnumber the population so there shouldn't be this problem.

What are some of your experiences with your cities in overcoming this problem and what tips would you suggest?

Do you have NAM (Network Addon Mod) installed?

More to the point, what version of the game do you have? Is it up to date for bug fixes?

The version that you have is maybe the original Simcity4 and it just nearly impossible for me to get any skyscraper except large apartements. You should have SC4 Rush Hour/Deluxe to make sure commercial skyscraper could grow. If you play a city with 200,000 people in the original version, the possibilty of overwhelmed is 100%, i thought, whil using Rush Hour/Deluxe would minimize the posibilities of overwhelmed because of too much unemployepment. Then, other mods such as NAM /CAM coould reduce it further till the possibilty of no job zot appearing without using "tastyzot" cheat is nearly 0%. It just too hard to use the original version for me, and i'm sure if you're overwhelmed because of no job and transportation problem as the cause of using the original instead of rush hour/deluxe. You must have one of them, somehow, to get any commercial skyscraper and some transportation-related bugs is fixed.
