    I hope there's already a modd for this instead of me having to muck around in ilives reader, but when I placed the Disease Research Center in my city (a reward), there was a "black hole" of bad desirability for all wealth levels and zone types. The poor would rather live next to a garbage dump than the disease research center, which is weird, since it wasn't a Business Deal or anything. Besides, my city (in real life) wants this type of thing to be its future.

    What gives?

    The DRC has a bad PETA rating, and it is a radiation source also. Best place for it is near the campus of the University. It should be in a commercial district.

    I usually put it near my power plants and cemetary. The protestors go away soon enough and the dead don't mind the radiation and strange sightings from the plant.
