Night Lights in BATS

hey can anybody plz tell me some effective way for night lights in bats i had tried almost everything downloaded bat tools gmax nd updates.i am having simcity 4 rush hour nd still the bat tool says that old version doesnt exist.help me friends

Sometimes there is a dependency involved, this is mentioned at the BAT you've downloaded. Normally BATs work with the default Maxis night lighting, there are exceptions because there are nicer nightlight mods available. If you want to change the night lighting using Gmax you might want to ask/search in the Simcity Builders Forum.

If you are merely trying to have night lights appear on custom buildings in the game, then having Gmax and BAT is not unnecessary. You do need to be sure you have all the game patches. See the Nighlights and Updates section of If you have questions about using the BAT to create new custom content, you might ask in the BAT Forum.

It's funny that this question was brought up because I can't see the nightlights in any of the downloaded buildings in my cities. I have the EP1 patch or whatever it's called from SC4Dev and it installed correctly as my SC4.exe file in the programs folder has the correct version number present when the patch is applied. Yet, still only maxis buildings have nightlights. Any suggestions?

You are short one update. Go to SC4Devotion's EA Support section and open the BAT page. On this page you will find the night lights patch. You do not need the BAT, just this fix.

You should also be aware that not all BAT's have the necessary textures to have night lights.

i downloaded that game from internet.so u mean that the nightlights wont work on the pirated or downloaded version

If so, then you'll need to get the game from an authorized source. Help with games from unauthorized sources can not be given in the forums here.
