    Hello everyone,

I just have a quick question. I have the "standard" automata plugin running in my game. If I want to change the automata plugin to the "radical" version do I need to completely uninstall the NAM and then proceed to re install it? and will doing so affect any of my NAM dependent transportation already in place? sorry if this is the wrong section.

    Thank You

You can just remove the "standard" automata plugin (no need to remove everything else), then just redo the installation with the same settings as you did the first time, except with the automata plugin.

Automata, for the most part, is just the visual stuff travelling on your road networks (and to be really technical, it's just a visual representation of what the real traffic is; It ain't the actual traffic); What would really have an impact more is the Traffic Simulator (but if you're OK with the simulator you have installed, you should also be fine).

i haven't played w/the standard setting yet but i know that radical has too many cars on the roads which is great for eye candy but not so good when doing the UDI missions that use a siren since there is so much traffic that runs into you.

"We'll be in too close for nukes. Same thing goes for missiles. No, this is going to be strictly a gun battle. Like two old ships on the line, slugging it out at point-blank range. I want the gun captains to do their job and start firing immediately and to continue to fire until they run out of ammo. Then, I want them to start throwing rocks." -- William Adama, Battlestar Galactica
