How to change building usages

Hi

I have no experiance with BAT or LOTS and am trying to read up on them.

Basically I am trying to convert warehouse buildings that are CO and CS on the exchange into IM and ID's as I don't find the type of industry buildings realistic, too many smoke stacks and oil tanks, I'd rather distribution warehouses and the like.

Do I open the BAt in BAT editor and just edit paramaters?

the easiest way I found is to use the plugin manager to convert the model to industrial and then create an industrial lot in the lot editor using that building

you can search the forums for tutorials on how to do that
