Audio Issues

I recently installed Simcity 4 into my pc, everything seems to be working fine. Game doesn't crash, no problems with the music or audio. That changed when I started playing one of the tutorials. The music is working but the audio suddenly disappeared, I went to check the mixer in my pc but nothing seems to be wrong then I went to the volume settings the game, its all maxed out. I went back to the game and when I zoomed closer, I noticed the audio didn't completely went missing. I can hear the cars, sirens, and the disasters but the rest of the audio is not playing. I don't know if there some kind of bug or glitch or SC4 is not fully compatible with my PC. UPDATE: After viewing footage I recorded using FRAPS, the audio is working but only in the recorded video not in the game itself!

Try adding DirectX 9.0c to your system. It can co-exist with the other version.
