residentials and lot editor

what's going on guys...if i change the buildings on residentials using the lot editor, will that show up on the game? cuz for the last few days i've been replacing the buildings on R$1 and i made a lot of SC4lot.file using the default maxis lots..i hope my question is make sense..(replaced it with american 4 square)

The American Four Square made by homefryes is an R$$4 house and definitely does not fit R$ lots, let alone R$1. When saving a lot, make sure the identifier has the right stage and the right wealth, otherwise it would be bugged if you use Maxis prop families. It will show up in the game though.

You can create all with these tools: SC4 Plugin Man, Lot Editor, Ilive Reader and SC4 Tool ...

so if i change the building, let say, on the R$1, i can only replace it with the R$1 buildings as well or the lot will be bugged
