Traffic on dirt roads?

So I got the SPAM access roads pack to create dirt roads for the farms. Looks good and all, but is there any way I could get cars to drive on them?

What I would like to do is make a residential town with just dirt roads. But that doesn't seem to be possible. Either you need to use gray street or black road.

Or you can use the Street Addon Mod. It has two different drivable transit-accessible dirt roads, based off of the Street network.

The SPAM roads you're using are lot-based and therefore cannot provide proper traffic flow.

Ok thanks got that one now. Seems to work and looks good.

Is there a fix for the diagonal roads/streets looking weird with textures not being the same as the land next to them?
